American black-walnut veneer (Juglans nigra) is one of the most popular hardwoods, and it’s easy to see why. This unique plain-sliced black-walnut wood ranges in color from a rich chocolate brown to a cooler gray brown that, at times, may show a slight purple tint. Our flat-cut walnut-veneer plywood is open-grained and shows straight to somewhat wavy grain patterns.
